On the occasion of IPACK-IMA 2012, SMIPACK will present the latest news in its machines range: the automatic packer in continuous motion FP500HS and of the automatic shrinkwrapper with sealing bar BP802ARV 280R-SP.

As a result of our relentless engagement in R&D activities, they stand out for application of state-of-the-art solutions, high efficiency rates, environmental sustainability, low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), wide range of products handled. The new FP500HS features a longitudinal welder in continuous motion, allowing to handle packs of any length; an inverter-controlled motorized cross-sealing bar complete with encoder allows to handle packs of up to 400mm width and up to 200mm height. Such enhancements, as well as an increase in the conveyor belts' speed, result in higher efficiency rates, if compared to traditional L-sealing packers. The new series also ensures lower film waste, thus driving down packaging costs.

The new BP802ARV 280R-SP for packaging in pad+film and in film only is one of the new models extending BetaPack series and represents a strong addition to Smipack machines portfolio. Featuring hi-tech solutions, the new BP model can handle products with both pethaloid and flat bottom with a minimum diameter of 40mm. Running up to 18 ppm (depending on product size and features), it is the ideal solution for a wide market segment at one of the most competitive prices.

Other machines will be displayed at Ipack-Ima 2012 the L-hood sealing packers (entry-level range) SL45 and SL55; S560 and S560NA L-hood sealing packers; semiautomatic L-sealer FP560A combined to thermo-shrinking tunnel T450 and automatic sealer FP6000 combined to conveyor GH1000 and thermo-shrinking tunnel T450 and the automatic shrinkwrappers with 90° infeed BP600AR 150R.
