New FW400E - FW500E, the models that complete the series dedicated to entry-level sector

The packaging sector is constantly evolving and every day millions of products are packaged in packs with different shapes and sizes thanks to increasingly versatile and safe packaging solutions. This incessant activity aims to meet countless needs. The most important one is to allow consumers to receive products in optimal conditions.

The packaging industry currently offers systems with high-tech content to respond to a continuously expanding market; these systems are also created in entry-level versions, obtained by simplifying the most complete and complex solutions to fit small operators’ requirements. In this context, SMIPACK has chosen to launch two new FW models, in addition to the existing FW300E, specifically dedicated to small sectors: FW400E and FW500E.

Compactness and high functionality, the cornerstones of the entry-level FW models

The three models that compose this machine range, derived from the most advanced systems, have two main features in common:

Ultra-compact design

The new models are equipped with cutting-edge technical features, also installed on the other machines that make up this series, such as: use of stainless steel in the product sliding surfaces, dynamic film conformer with numerical display, longitudinal sealing with drive wheels and operation control by means of Flxmod® system.
 

From the infeed to outfeed conveyor, all the components of the FW300E, FW400E and FW500E models have been carefully adapted to fit into a highly compact structure, which can be installed in a small production environments, maintaining the possibility to realize high-quality packs.
 

Entry-level FW: management of small and medium-sized products at high speeds

The new models proposed by SMIPACK are versatile and flexible, able to pack a wide range of products in different packaging solutions and with different packaging materials. For smaller products, SMIPACK offers the FW300E and FW400E models with a 150 mm sealing bar and production speeds of up to 80 and 100 products/minute respectively. For larger ones, it offers the FW500E model with a 250 mm sealing bar which can reach production speeds up to 120 products/minute.

The FW300E models are already available on the market, while the FW400E and FW500E models will be available starting from April 2024.
